Control intro fade timing, post-audio delay, default slide transitions, aspect ratio, screen recording options, and preview mode.
General Settings
Open ⚙️ Settings → General to configure the following options that apply across your entire project.Intro Fade-In
- Enable intro fade-in — toggle the fade-in animation that plays at the start of your video.
- Duration (seconds) — set how long the fade-in lasts. Shorter values (0.3–0.5 s) feel snappy; longer values (1–2 s) create a cinematic opener.
Post-Audio Delay
The post-audio delay adds a pause after each slide’s narration finishes before the video advances to the next slide. The default is 0.5 seconds. Increase this if your audience needs more time to absorb the final sentence on a slide; decrease it for a tighter, faster-paced video.Default Slide Transition
Choose how Origami AI animates between slides:
You can override the transition on individual slides inside the Slide Editor.
Aspect Ratio
Set the default canvas dimensions for your video output:Screen Recording Options
The General tab also exposes screen recording controls, including a countdown timer toggle. Enable the countdown to give yourself a moment to prepare before capture begins.Preview Mode
Set Preview Mode to modal to watch a slide-by-slide playback of your project in a focused overlay before committing to a full render. All settings—including API keys, voice preferences, and project data—are stored locally in your browser’s IndexedDB. No account is required, and nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly connect a cloud provider.
